[ Storyline Guide | FSA Quote FAQ ]
The aim of Zelda Katsu is to act as a group open to exploring all aspects of the Zelda mythos. The main area the group is interested in is the Zelda storyline. To this end, Zelda Katsu has created a reference guide on the numerous games, which can be found here on the site. There are currently plans to create more documentation to supplement this.
As well as these guides, members of Zelda Katsu collect together to work on other projects endorsed by the group. Membership is open to all, and a members involvement on a project can range from participating in discussions for idea generation, to leading and coordinating the project itself. Members should feel free to participate as much or as little as they want.
The group will run numerous projects simultaneously, though they will be limited in number to avoid loss of focus. New projects can be proposed at any time, with the most popular projects being accepted. This way, members can truly determine the direction and focus of the group.
If you are interested in Zelda Katsu, and would like to become a member please contact Mohammed Ali Azeem for further information.

The Zelda Storyline Guide is designed to look at different sources that can be considered as canon so that readers can gain a better idea of the Zelda storyline without having to search through loads of text dumps and instruction booklets. This can sometimes become problematic, as there is a large question mark over what should be considered as canon by different people. In order to counter this problem I have decided to split up the information for each game into separate sections in terms of their source. This way, if you do not consider a certain source as being canon, you can ignore it. Having said that, there are certain sources that are not considered canon at all, and have therefore not been covered in the guide. These are the Philips CD-i games, and all extended media (i.e. TV shows, comics and books) that were licensed by Nintendo to other companies.
The guide favours information from the Japanese release of the game over that of the English release. This is because the Japanese versions do not suffer from translation errors like the English versions do. Hence, if something is written in the English version that isn’t supported in the Japanese version, it is not considered as canon.

The FSA Quote FAQ compiles all the important quotes from the a game into a reference guide. All quotes are presented as they appear in the game and in chronological order. This particular guide can be browsed in two ways. You can choose between the Traditional view and the Divided view. The Traditional view presents all the quotes on a singal page and is therefor ideal for searching the guide using key words. In the Divided view, you can proceed through the story chapter by chapter.
