Link’s train has reached the station, ready to take us to the latest stop on our tournament. The Ghost Ship from Phantom Hourglass took the lead yesterday, and there’s still more Nintendo DS love to share today. Spirit Tracks, a personal favorite of mine, is ready for your votes.

What is the Best Dungeon in Spirit Tracks?

Phantom Hourglass may not have been a perfect game, but Nintendo took all they learned from the making of that game to craft a much better sequel in Spirit Tracks. The world was interesting, the story was engaging, and the focus on train travel was a welcome departure from the Zelda norm.

Spirit Tracks even improved upon the problems present in PH‘s Temple of the Ocean King, offering the much more welcoming Tower of Spirits. I actually had a ton of fun in this dungeon. There were plenty of other great dungeons to explore as well, so let’s get the voting started.

So, it’s time to decide the best dungeon in Spirit Tracks.

What is the Best Dungeon in Spirit Tracks?

  • Tower of Spirits (35%, 44 Votes)
  • Sand Temple (20%, 25 Votes)
  • Snow Temple (13%, 16 Votes)
  • Fire Temple (10%, 13 Votes)
  • Ocean Temple (8%, 10 Votes)
  • Forest Temple (6%, 8 Votes)
  • Lost at Sea Station (6%, 8 Votes)

Total Voters: 124

Never heard of the Lost at Sea Temple.

    • Rod Lloyd

That was a typo. Lost at Sea Station is the right name. X_X

Still never heard of it. I must not have gone that far in the game.

          It’s optional

        • K2L

It’s a well-hidden mini-dungeon that can only be unlocked after doing a difficult sidequest involving Linebeck near the end of the game.

  • Jebradiah Drake

I would pick the Snow Temple because I love the Boomerang in this game and how you draw it’s path. It’s used great against the Fraaz boss (who was also memorable for how goofy he looked)

Tower of Spirits, by far. And that’s saying something considering the quality of the other dungeons. It improved damn near everything about the Temple of the Ocean King. The soundtrack as you climb is awesome. The co-op puzzles with Zelda are some of the coolest in the game. Some of the coolest in the series imo. And that final battle with Zelda and Byrne….just great stuff all around. It was a legitimate pleasure revisiting the Tower. A stark contrast to PH

  • K2L

Voted for Tower of Spirits, as it substantially improves over the TOTOK, and also allows you to play as Zelda!

Next to it is the Sand Temple.

This is the only zelda game besides triforce heroes and the cdi games that I’ve never beat. I beat the first dungeon and never went back to it.
