This month, Takara Tomy ARTS, a Japanese toy distributor, will be selling figurines of four characters from the Dynasty Warriors and The Legend of Zelda crossover title, Hyrule Warriors. These toys can be considered official Hyrule Warriors merchandise, as they are officially licensed by Nintendo.

On May 4th, 2015, we introduced you to a project by Zelda Universe titled Hyrule Warriors: The Movie. Zelda Universe compiled cut scenes, key moments, and additional voice overs from the Hyrule Warriors game in order to create a seamless movie. On May 1st, Zelda Universe released their first act, May 22nd, their second act, and finally on June 19th, they have released the finale of the series.

Classic Link was finally the straw that broke the camel’s back and got me to boot up Hyrule Warriors again. It is by far my favorite costume change for Link to date and I am super glad it was released as free DLC. While I didn’t record a video of myself playing (I am setting up a new recording/streaming setup in my new place when I move in a couple weeks), we do have a great video from YouTuber ZeldaMaster. The video, which plays the first scenario in the game, shows Link is all of his glory. It only gets better if they include a shield with the original cross on it in my opinion…
