Secrets:

1 - Return to the temple at the Isle of Songs to learn Din's Power.

You know the drill by now. Head back to the Isle of Songs, activate the Goddess Crest, learn a new song. You've done it all before.

Din's Power
Din's Power channels the essence of the Golden Goddess Din, forger of Power. The Sacred Gift hidden in her Silent Realm will allow you to access the deepest areas of Eldin Volcano.

Find out more at Zeldapedia: Din's Power.

2 - Hunt down the Trial Gate at Eldin Volcano.

The Trial Gate at Eldin Volcano is right next to the Volcano Ascent Bird Statue. Again, you've done this stuff before. It hasn't changed much. Whip out your harp, play your tune, thrust your sword into the portal, and let the trial begin.

3 - Clear the trials in Din's Silent Realm.

  • At the start, walk out of the safe zone, wait for the Guardian to come a bit closer, then sprint up the path to get the tear.
  • Go back a bit and into the tunnel to your right. When you exit go right again and pick up the tear that's located at the bottom of the vines.
  • Climb back up and get the tear straight ahead, past the tunnel entrance.
  • Go back into the tunnel and jump into the air jet. Go south, and in the room with the guardian pick up the tear up on the ledge to your left side. Be careful to not touch any of the water as you slide down.
  • Stick to the right as you go and land on the small ledge near the bottom. Jump to the left using the two air jets and grab the tear.
  • Now jump onto the path, between the two water patches and sprint up to grab the other tear.
  • When you slide back to the bottom follow the path, jump across the platform and drop down to the lower level on your left when you reach it. Sprint across the bridge, climb up and go right to grab another tear.
  • Go back and sprint across the other bridge, but be careful not to run into the Watcher. Climb up the ledge on the left to reach the two platforms that lead to the tear sitting on top of the skull.
  • Jump back and climb up all the way to the top-most level. A tear is hovering just out of reach near a Light Fruit.
  • Jump and grab the nearby rope - now you can grab the tear by swinging yourself towards it. Proceed along the top level now, past the Mogma house and the guardian, and grab the tear sitting on the small ledge straight ahead of you.
  • Jump down to the path below and head forward. When you reach the guardian you'll see a tear up ahead on a pillar, with a rope leading to it. To reach the rope you need to crawl through the hole slightly to your left. Once you have it, go back, and as you crawl out of the passage again, head right to grab tear #12.
  • The next part is tricky - head north, as you'd normally walk through Eldin Volcano - past the bridge patrolled by the Watcher, the across the other bridge on the right, up the vines and through the tunnel with the big air jet. This will lead you back to the very beginning of this Silent Realm. As you exit the tunnel, stick to the right side and go through the other passage. Jump over via the platform and grab the tear just up the slope. You should have enough time to get here before the Guardians wake up.
  • Do not sprint up the slope right away - sprint to the left, where you'll find another easy tear.
  • Now in order to sprint up safely, you must not take a break, or the Watchers will see you or catch up to you. Sprint back to the right side of the slide, then sprint up, all while sticking to the right. Pick up the stamina fruit on your way and just jolt past the Watchers. Once you've made it up, go to the right and grab the last tear in the middle of the area. You could have gotten these three tears right at the start, but this way you end up near the beginning once you collect them all.
The Sacred Gift from this Silent Realm is a pair of Fireshield Earrings. They'll protect you from the superhot areas in the volcano's core.

Fireshield Earrings
Fireshield EarringsThis Sacred Gift completes the set! If you enter superhot areas without some protective gear, you'll catch fire and burn up, but these red earrings will guard your hearts from heat-related damage.

4 - Use your added heat protection to investigate the Volcano Summit.

You passed through the superhot area near the Volcano Summit earlier, but you took the right path to slide back down the mountain. This time, take the left path and proceed into the volcano interior. You'll want to carry two Empty Bottles inside. There's not much you have to do here. Just climb up the hill past the Bird Statue, drop down from the ledge, and hop across the lava pit on your left.

Head through the passage directly ahead and scoop up some water from the spring here with your Bottles, then backtrack into the volcano and hang a left to find another passage leading to a small cave. Frog idols here have their tongues sticking out in hopes that you'll quench their thirst. Approach the one here and dump the water onto its mouth and the flame barrier will extinguish.

Cursed Spume
Cursed SpumeCursed Spumes are similar to the Spume varieties you've already seen, but they live in more dangerous environments. Watch out for their cursed spit and fight back with projectiles and other ranged attacks!

Find out more at Zeldapedia: Cursed Spume.

The next frog idol's a bit tougher to reach. Scan the ceiling on the left side of the room for vines you can use to pull yourself up with the Clawshots, then dump the water onto the frog idol from above. You'll emerge in the Fire Sanctuary complex. There's a third giant frog idol here, but you can't reach it via traditional means. Besides, it'll need a lot of water - more than you can carry.

5 - Have Scrapper recover the water basin from the Water Dragon.

The only thing big enough to cool this frog's throat is the water basin kept by the Water Dragon in Lake Floria. Head back to the sky and drop down there to have Scrapper fetch it for you. You'd think bringing it back to the Sanctuary would be as easy as dropping down next to the Bird Statue there, but Scrapper's stubbornness lands you at the foot of the mountain.

6 - Protect Scrapper as he carries the basin to the Fire Sanctuary.

You'll have to protect him as you claim back up. Most enemies along the way are susceptible to your Bow, like the Bokoblins - the archers in particular - so it's not too tough a climb. Follow the shortcut you created the first time you were here: head left at the first fork and hoof it up the slopes from there.

When you reach the Volcano Summit, you'll run into a pack of Dark Keese. These are the real troublemakers because of their erratic movements. Try to take them out before they spot Scrapper. A pair of Lizalfos in the next chamber also might cause you some grief. Once they're taken care of though, the Spumes and other enemies are no problem. Guide Scrapper over to the Fire Sanctuary and he'll dump the whole basin onto the frog's tongue to open the temple for you.

Dark Keese
If this wicked bat bites you, you won't be able to use your items until its curse wears off. Fortunately, they don't really put up much of a fight otherwise and a strong hit from your sword will take them out easily.
