We’ve got a big announcement coming in from Nintendo, as they have just announced that there will be a special live broadcast (via NicoNico) on December 12th at 9PM JST (7AM EST) that’ll strictly focus on Breath of the Wild. The show will only be presented in Japanese. There are currently no additional details in regards to the content that will be shown or talked about during the broadcast. You can, however, submit questions for a “Player’s Voice” segment during the show, which you can do until December 8th.

This stream will most likely be centered around the upcoming story DLC for Breath of the Wild, The Champions’ Ballad, as well as answering fan questions. We haven’t heard anything from the Big N in a while, so this may be their chance to finally show off anything in regards to The Champions’ Ballad.

What do you think of this news? Will you be checking out the NicoNico broadcast? Let us know in the comment below!

“____Insert Corporate Entity Here____” announces Special Live Broadcast on December “__” 2017! It has NOTHING to do with trying to sell a bunch of crap to you guys before Christmas!! Ha ha. Of course they announced a special live broadcast. It’s a captive piggybank.

My god, you’ve cracked the code! That thing they’ve marketed as buyable over Holiday 2017 is meant to be bought for Holiday 2017!

It’s pretty unlikely considering we’re in the holiday season now, but honestly I wouldn’t be surprised.

I’m sure this broadcast will have something to do with the Champions Ballad, but I’d at least like to see something about the DLC during the Game Awards. Even a simple trailer would be satisfying enough until the broadcast, which could then go over the DLC in greater depth.

I hope they still announce the DLC at the game awards, and release it the day after
