• The Wii U Virtual Console was announced today with a release slated for this Spring. But starting right now, Nintendo is offering a promotion to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Famicom in Japan. From now until July, Nintendo will be offering a different Virtual Console title every month for a mere 30 cents apiece to celebrate 30 years of Famicom.

    Even though the Virtual Console hasn’t officially launched quite yet, you can head over to the eShop and choose “See All” that the bottom of the main menu to download your copy of Balloon Fight, a game Iwata himself helped develop. After—you guessed it—30 days, each promotional title will return to its regular price. The full list of games can be found below.

    • January: Balloon Fight
    • February: F-Zero
    • March: Punch-Out! Featuring Mr. Dream
    • April: Kirby’s Adventure
    • May: Super Metroid
    • June: Yoshi
    • July: Donkey Kong
