• Wii U A few weeks ago, developers received new, near-final model Wii U dev kits from Nintendo. We are now getting reports that these new kits and/or their documentation contain some additional features that have not been available in previous developer’s kits.

This rumors are coming from the same source on NeoGAF as many of our other rumors, so there’s a chance that they’ll be true. A few of them are obvious, while others are subjects we have lightly talked about before.

    Here’s the list:

    • Video Chat is available, but must be from the main menu of the system (not while playing a game).
    • Voice Commands are available (similar to this rumor we heard about the 3DS maybe?)
    • Facial Recognition (similar to features of the Xbox Kinect)
    • Ability to suspend games, similar to 3DS.
    • Ability to share achievements with friends by sending videos or screenshots with drawings on them.
    • Watch a friend play online
    • Multitasking (example: keep a text or video walkthrough open from ZI while playing the game, swap back and forth as needed)

Rumors in bold are the most credible rumors according to the source, with the other rumors possible. Personally, I definitely think that we’ll be able to suspend games and multitask. As for the other rumors, who knows?

What do you think of these rumors? Any of them true? Which ones do you want to see implemented and how?
