Wii U Official Launch List This Holiday Revealed, No Rayman Legends

People often make fun of us for some of the silly rumors we post. Why not? They almost never turn out to be true unless they were already obvious, and those “anonymous sources” based off email tips are always, shall we say, fishy. In fact, it’s so bad that some of our staff refuse to even read news tips. Of course, most here assume we simply post everything sent our way. Rest assured that isn’t the case. Every day we get a nice handful of “fake” rumors, and if you think the few we have posted are “bad” you should see the ones we don’t post.
Of course, every now and then, we get something that is completely legit. Today folks, I present you the launch/holiday lineup for the Wii U as it stands right now, on the 1st of August 2012. according to Game Stop. Yes, this was an email tip, but we actually have picture evidence to support the cause. Keep in mind this is just the list as it stands today, and is subject to change. All of these titles should be available to pre-order either right now or very soon at your local Game Stop. What games are for sure hitting the shelves for the Wii U this year?
It would appear from the “TBA” following Rayman Legends that those looking forward to the limbless platformer are going to be waiting longer than just until the Wii U comes out. Other than that. most of the titles on the list are already well known, and there is not much surprise in this, but it is the first official set launch title list that we’ve seen so far, so if you see something you want, run out to your nearest Gamestop to preorder it!
