Mama Robotnik has released the next two pieces of their research into the Metroid Prime developments and cut content, detailing both Metroid Prime 3: Corruption & Hunters. One interesting aspect of their research uncovers what is assumed to a toon version of Metroid featuring a more abstract Samus with enemy designs that look like they belong in Ratchet & Clank.
The development of Prime 3 features content such as a removed opening between Samus and Kraid, the expected cut bosses, and two interestingly removed morph balls labled as FireBall & IceBall. There is some very cool concept art as well, textures, environments, and depictions of Samus’s face as she progressively becomes more corrupted with Phazon. The Prime Hunters features more detailed animations, scrapped monsters, and the interesting toon-oriented artwork.
