This morning Double Fine Productions showed off their new game, The Cave, coming to consoles as a digital download sometime in the beginning of next year. The concept is simple: it’s an adventure game where seven explorers, each with their own unique personalities and skill-sets, set out to tackle a massive cave.Players will choose from three of these characters to form their group - one’s a hillbilly, one’s a knight, one’s a time-traveler, one’s a monk, one’s an adventurer, one’s a scientist, and the last is actually a set of twins. Any combination can clear the game, but each of them will do so in its own way, with different endings and pathways.
