• Harmonix Logo First of all, hello everyone, I’m back!

Now let’s talk about another recent rumor that could pertain to the Wii U. Harmonix, the makers of the Rock Band games, has job openings for software engineers, narrative designers, senior content designers, and senior level designers. No, that’s not a typo, they are looking for narrative designers for an upcoming “music-based motion-gaming IP” for next-gen systems. What are they up to though? Are they taking Wii Music and giving it some sort of story? Or are they doing much more?

Since this game is supposed to be for next-gen consoles, it’ll likely find a home on the Wii U, especially if Sony and Microsoft scrap the Move and Kinect on their new consoles. The big question is: How Harmonix is planning to mesh music gaming, story, and motion gaming? I honestly have no idea what they could be planning, but it’s definitely something to keep an eye out for.

So, what do you think the next big IP for Harmonix could be? Sound off with any ideas in the comment section below.
