Rumor: Best Buy Says Wii U Pre-orders Go Live Industry Wide in September

Not a whole lot to necessarily talk about here, but according to a source at GoNintendo we wont be able to pre-order the Wii U for real until September industry wide, and I would assume this applies to world wide as well. The only reason this gets the rumor tag is simply because GoNintendo cannot confirm their source, and though a picture is provided above supposedly out of a book at Best Buy, naturally we can’t know for sure it’s not a mock up.
All that being said, I think it’s safe to assume this is correct. We should be getting a news flood about the Wii U next month in a Nintendo Direct type conference, and naturally the release date, price, and all that jazz should be revealed. Once that becomes available, which should be next month, then naturally it’s safe to take pre-orders. So, in the end, while a rumor, it’s pretty much a sure bet regardless. It’s just nice to see something else pointing to the information hitting next month.
