Recently a Dealnews survey recorded 1,551 gamers’ interest in the upcoming Wii U. The survey asked the gamer’s whether or not they were planning on purchasing the Wii U. Approximately 1,163 (or 75%) of those surveyed declared they were not currently planning on making the purchase. What is even more shocking is that of the current Wii owners surveyed, 64% also stated they were not planning to buy the upgrade.
Nintendo has high hopes for their next-gen console, and so do I. However, these survey results more or less make me worry regarding the Wii U’s success. Do you think Nintendo is looking at a jump-start in profits and success with their newest console? Or are we looking at a failure in terms of sales and interest, as this survey suggests?
