Rayman Origins on the 3DS is set to come out next month, but it looks like Nintendo is jumping the gun a bit with a demo this week. Rayman Origins Wii had one of the best art styles of the year in 2011, and with news of Rayman Legends for the Wii U I think this 3DS title will do well.
Set in the mystical Glade of Dreams, Rayman Origins 3DS finds the limbless legend taking on the Darktoons who have shattered the peace in the Glade of Dreams. Joined by Globox, he runs, jumps and HairlyCopters through 60 levels. beating up bad guys as he goes.
The 3DS uses the StreetPass to exchange game data to show off how far you have gone in the game. It mostly just lets you brag about the collectibles you can get and other unlockable achievements.
It will be available in the eShop alongside Kirby’s Dreamland 2 and Bird Mania 3D. Wii owners can also download a 2 Fast 4 Gnomz demo.
