Majora’s Mask 3D would not begin, if it does at all, until they wrap up development on the next installment in the series. This of course was intended so they’re wouldn’t be so many “remakes” in such a short period of time. Naturally this isn’t exactly the answer we wanted, but it was solid encouragement that Majora’s Mask 3D should be happening eventually.
However, that doesn’t mean the movement comes to a stop. Just like with Operation Rainfall, we have to keep putting the pressure on so Nintendo doesn’t think we have all lost interest in the idea. Last time I spoke on the matter I said I would be sending a personal email to Nintendo’s Reggie Fils-Aime with the hopes of it being forwarded to someone in Nintendo of Japan once we reached certain goals in the campaign. Among those goals was 50,000 signatures on the Online Petition, of which we are extremely close sitting at just over 45,000 so far. Of course, having as many followers on facebook as we can helps as well.
Of course, there are so many other ways to support the cause. Check out our Operation Moonfall page for more information. I apologize if the formatting of the page is a tad off. We are still working out all the kinks in the new system.
