New Sonic to Be Announced Next Month on 3DS and Wii U?

On Hedgehog Day, Sega likes to announce upcoming Sonic titles for the rest of the year. Sources close to the published have informed The Sonic Stadium that an upcoming title is in the works for all next gen consoles and handhelds. The game will play similarly to Sonic Unleashed (Daylight), Sonic Colors, and Sonic Generations, alternating between 3D sections and some 2D side-scrolling. Officially confirmed were the platforms of release: Xbox 360, PC, PS3, Wii U, 3DS, and Vita some time this year, hopefully by Winter, at the very latest.Keep an eye out for more announcements on Hedgehog Day, February 2nd, with a possible full unveil of the game in the coming month.
