• Nintendo Calling There has been a buzz about the Internet about a series of viral phone calls that have been going out to Nintendo journalists. However, the intended message of the call is unclear.

In the call or voicemail (it doesn’t matter which, both had the same message), the message was: “Have you heard about _____? If not, you will…”. However, the words that fill in the blank are unclear.

Some have argued that “Wii U” goes in the blank, and I can hear it. However, I don’t see Nintendo doing something like this. It does seem possible though. They are trying to massively hype up the Wii U, right?

Others report hearing “Medium” in the blank. That, along with the mysterious Medium postcards that these journalists also report receiving and the findings of a GoNintendo reader that points to the company’s website, lead me to believe that the message comes from Blooper Team, a company that is currently developing a game called Medium. Either way, Nintendo journalists are being targeted, so this has something to do with Nintendo.

Why should you rely on my opinion though, fair readers? If you venture below, you can listen to two different recordings of the mystery call, and sound off with your own opinion of the message in the comment section.

Here are both of the recordings. Listen closely and tell us what you think!

    So, what’s the verdict?
