Mother Fan-Remake: Walkabout

We know that Earthbound fans in the West don’t exactly get the best treatment from Nintendo as they’re constantly holding out hope for the title but get no rewards and are left hanging on speculation and glimmers of hope. Luckily fans have translated both Mother and Mother 3 games that most people enjoy, but it’s still not the same as having an official English translation from the big N themselves.
While fans have been given hope for a possible Mother 3 release in the West, we can still rely on the fans to always be there for us, just like with this fan remake of Mother! The author notes that the music is not complete and a few areas are given placeholder music. Areas are still incomplete, notably indoor areas, and the music and maps are not final, but it’s still nice to see what the fans can do. Please note that this is merely a demonstration and most areas are empty as a result.
