• The Mircosoft Conference is underway now, and they’re starting out with the biggest and most anticipated titles Xbox fans are waiting for. After showing off an extended trailer for Halo 4, Microsoft is now showing a game play trailer for Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Blacklist.

The trailer is focusing on the game’s protagonist, Sam, behind enemy lines, as he must escape, use stealth, kill with procession, traverse environmental obstacles and more.

The game also employs Kinect voice recognition, by allowing players to divert enemy NPCs using their voice. Co-op has also been confirmed.

Knowing that this Splinter Cell title is headed to the Wii U, I’m already seeing a lot of possibilities on how to implement the GamePad. Not only would it work as a scope, but as a sensor viewer.

Check back at the end of the conference for the full trailer.
