Iwata: “We are Planning to Release The Wind Waker by This Fall”

One thing worth noting today is the fact that the Wii U HD remake of The Wind Waker is going to be arriving on our Wii Us by this fall, according to Mr. Iwata. That means the title can literally come out anytime between now and the end of fall.I am sure many of you are getting tired of remakes and re-releases, but to be honest I don’t really care. This just shot up my most anticipated list for 2013 in a heartbeat. Here is where I admit to you folks that I have never completed The Wind Waker. I played it a lot and got to the Triforce fetch quest several times, but I never got past it. Not because it was hard, I just was distracted and never sat down to actually finish it. That may make the ending, which I have seen several times but never experienced, all the more fulfilling for me later this year. What part of the game are you most looking forward to seeing in-person?
