GlitterBerri has been working hard at translating Hyrule Historia. In a recent translation, we have concept art pages of character designs, as well as a few storyboards from Link’s Awakening. The storyboards contain records of the game’s opening sequence, as well as idea sketches for enemy attack patterns and other various animations. How to solve certain puzzles, the the sidescrolling sections of the game are there as well.
Link’s design for Adventure of Link as compared to the first Legend of Zelda game is also visible. He has longer arms and legs to more proportionate lengths, though he doesn’t his trusty shield. A Link to The Past was designed to be a little more mature, and caters to foreign fans as well. The A Link To The Past concept art is of Zelda and Ganon, and there is even a sci-fi looking costume for the princess that didn’t appear in the game.
