Finding Nemo Swimming to 3DS & DS

As you may know, the classic Pixar film Finding Nemo is being re-released in theatres in 3D this fall. To coincide with this, a video game will be released for the 3DS and DS called Finding Nemo: Escape to the Big Blue. On Gamestop’s website, where the games have been listed, it says that they will be released on September 11.It’s likely that the two versions will be basically the same game, with the 3DS one having the obligatory added 3D and possibly some slight visual enhancements. That said, the recent Amazing Spiderman game shows that a 3DS movie tie-in game can be completely different from its DS counterpart. While it goes without saying that movie games are… well.. movie games, it’s nice that Disney isn’t content with just rehashing a film in 3D.
