Ever wondered what it’d be like to play Twilight Princess with Skyward Sword‘s control scheme? Well, coming from the same source that imported Outset Island into Skyward Sword, we’ve now got a second video showing off Twilight Princess‘s Ordon Ranch.
The conversion is still pretty sloppy due to the wildly disparate graphical styles - you’ll notice a lot of the details from the trees are missing, and textures have taken a serious hit (so as to be largely unrecognizable) - but the goal is of course to create a faithful fan port of Twilight Princess into the Skyward Sword control scheme.
Curious to see how the import turned out in basic testing? Check out the video below:
I have to admit, while I don’t think that Twilight Princess would really convert as well to a more advanced Wii control scheme as, say, Metroid Prime did for the Trilogy edition, I’m still mildly curious to see how this works out. I wonder if this project would go so far as to take Twilight Princess and give it Skyward Sword‘s graphical style, too… I’d love to see how a fully-featured Hyrule would look with the painterly textures.
