Hoho, what is this?! Brandon posting after a three week absence? I’ll tell you why in a bit, but first, let’s get the news out.
Dragon Quest Monsters: Terry’s Wonderland 3D has been given a release date in Japan for May 31st, which is awesome. I’m hoping a North American release date is going to follow it sometime soon because I love this game and I recall pumping 250+ hours into this game as a kid, getting every single monster except for Mirudraas II, which really sucked because to get him, you had to take a winding route to breed him, and he’s not even that great.
As you can tell, there’s a new limited edition 3DS (which looks awful) that you can purchase with the game. The game alone sells for 5490 yen, while the system and the game costs 24980 yen. Not sure of the USD conversion rate, but it’s a lot.

As to why I have been gone with only a few occasional posts since the big downtime back in December, it’s a long story. First off, it was the holidays and I didn’t get back into school till the end of January, and with a big vacation and whatnot, but more than that, I’ve been going through immediate family crises for a while now, and I lost a family member last week. It still does not excuse my behavior and not being here for this staff team these past few weeks of inactivity, even when news was chugging away. I do apologize to them, and to you guys, and hopefully it won’t happen again. News has gotten slow and losing a great staff member in Dathen doesn’t help it in any way. When things get better, I hope to be able to fill those shoes and help as much as I can to make up for this. Thanks to the staff, especially Nate, for being more than understanding in my circumstances, and thank you guys for reading this long ramble!
