Okay, let’s clarify: nobody connected to Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 has said they hate Wii. The Wii versions of most Call of Duty games have been piss-poor renditions of their superior HD console counterparts, and their use of the Wii controller has universally been less than stellar, but I’m sure the vast majority of us couldn’t care less. Nonetheless, it still stings when the official boards for Black Ops 2 migrated over the Wii forum… but it turned out to be an “accident” and they have no announcements regarding the system. Nails in the coffin.Now maybe this means they’re bringing it over to Wii U, and just don’t feel like announcing anything until E3. That’s always a possibility, especially now that there are more similarities between current platforms. I don’t particularly care either way, as first-person shooters aren’t my cup of tea. It’s just… kinda sad to know that the Wii is on its way out. It’s been a good run, old buddy. I’ll still use you for my GameCube library…
