A Groose-Approved Piece Of Skyward Sword Art

Us posting about music is normal - so is when we share some art with the community.Sometimes we even share quite a lot of art, and sometimes we just find a piece that looks so amazing it deserves its own special little mention. You can obviously see a little peek of said art to the left of the post, but something like that just can’t do a grandiose work like this any justiceAnd here it is, in all of its single-layer painted glory:
While the flow of color is a bit jarring, I’ve pretty much got nothing but praise for this piece. From the very top with the three great dragons and the loftwings to Link holding aloft the Master Sword, the appearance of Ghirahim and the blues of Skyview Temple… the vivid fiery hues of Eldin Volcano and the Fire Temple with my absolute favorite part of the picture beneath, the Lanayru Desert. That split down the middle, past and present taking a side up; some might’ve said the area was taxing, but I got nothing but enjoyment out of it and its adorable little robot denizens. Then there’s the absolutely badass moment where Groose defends the Time Gate as well as the segue into the past where the evil Lord Demise awaits with his servant Ghirahim… and the slow downward spiral of the Sealing Grounds into one of the game’s most active points - where Demise’s primordial body was sealed away.
