Treehouse showed off quite a bit of the Breath of the Wild 1st DLC Pack. Enemies seem to team up against Link in Master Mode, as Sky Octorocs could be seen grouped together in a face off against Link. Breath of the Wild‘s first DLC pack launches June 30th. Included in the pack is a new item called the Travel Medallion, which when placed anywhere on the map will allow Link to teleport to it. As part of Breath of the Wild’s Master Trials DLC Pack, a Master Mode was showcased, highlighting high-octane moments of Master Sword mastery. Nintendo has just released details pertaining to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild‘s new DLC, including new screenshots, new gameplay footage, and the release of a new enemy exclusive to Hard Mode (named “Master Mode”). The meat of the reveal focused on the titular Master Trials, which tasks the player to survive with no armor and no weapons in a series of challenges similar to Twilight Princess’s Cave of Ordeals or The Wind Waker’s Savage Labyrinth. During Nintendo’s E3 Spotlight they finally gave us some more information on their upcoming DLC, along with a release date for pack 1. Titled The Master Trials, it will be available on June 30th, 2017. It includes awesome new gameplay modes and unlockable armor. The next DLC, which we have seen very little of so far will be released around Holiday 2017. During Nintendo’s E3 press conference Aonuma just officially unveilied amiibo’s to the four Champions in Breath of the Wild: Mipha, Urobosa, Daruk, and Revali. Escape Rooms are growing in popularity, and even the Zelda franchise is getting one. The escape room, titled Defenders of the Triforce, is being presented by SCRAP, and they have a trailer for it. The trailer has a standard Zelda premise, in which the Triforce has fallen into Ganondorf’s hands. During the real escape game, players will find items and solve puzzles.
