Welcome back to another exciting installment of the Zelda Informer Podcast! For those of you wondering what happened to the Zelda Informer channel, it has since been re-branded as the Nintendo Prime channel and we’ve moved over to the Zelda Dungeon channel… which I just re-branded as the ZD-I YouTube Channel. So lots of re-branding. Forgetting the semantics of the channel names, this week, Darrin, our managing editor, jumps in for the discussion. We break down the Breath of the Wild…

First, for those of you subscribed to the Zelda Informer YouTube page, that has now become the Nintendo Prime YouTube account. From now on, I’ll be uploading the Podcast to the Zelda Dungeon YouTube. Now that that’s out of the way, this week, we have a returning guess, Andy Spiteri, who is one of our writers for Zelda Informer. Since Nate couldn’t make it, Andy was more than willing to step in. This week, we discuss a bunch of fan…

The closer we get to Breath of the Wild’s release, the more information we get on the game. Between last week’s interviews and this week’s interview from IGN, we’re learning a lot about the game. This week, we cover a few different things: the IGN interviews, the Famitsu scans, and my (Alfred’s) experience at PAX South 2017. We hope you enjoy this week’s podcast! As an aside: Nate’s video was doing some weird stuff framerate wise, so I did my…

Podbean | iTunes | YouTube | Download As of the recording of this video, Wednesday, January 25th, there were three interview summaries released and published on nintendoeverything.com. Each interview offered various insights into Nintendo, Breath of the Wild, Aonuma’s decision-making and more! Since this the first bit of Zelda news we’ve had in quite some time, we decide to break down these interviews and give our opinions on them. Then, we go on to discuss some fan questions, hitting two very big ones! This…

We took a one week hiatus as we dealt with the incoming and ever-flowing aftermath of the Nintendo Switch event last week, but we’re back with a two hour special where Alfred and Nate (yours truly) go over our reactions to Breath of the Wild and what we have learned since the 12th, plus some overall reactions to the Nintendo Switch on the whole, ending with the reasoning we both have a Nintendo Switch pre-ordered. Well, next week is the conference for the Switch, so this week is all about the Switch! Of course, we have a little nod to Zelda in here, but for the most part, this is all about the Switch! Sadly, my video didn’t work this week, so I decided to do something a bit more ambitious and create some snow… which turned the rendering and encoding time into an eight-hour ordeal. Though, I think it turned out pretty well! This…

Podbean | iTunes | YouTube | Download I’ve had more technical problems with this one podcast that I have ever had with my entire decade or more of video editing. It seemed like nothing could go right. Video and audio had to be heavily scrubbed, Nate’s video didn’t work, my parents’ internet kept going down- It was a mess. However, once I got it done, it felt great. If everything works well, then this video should be up at…

For the first time in a few weeks, the podcast is up at the right time! Well, sort of. We still don’t have a “set time” anymore. Regardless, here’s the 30th episode of the best Zelda podcast on Zelda Informer. Sadly, Nate could not make it this week due to some technical issues. His internet fried itself and he couldn’t record. Not to worry, though! We managed to get the awesome Rozen on the show again…

Yes, the podcast this (past) week is getting posted a bit late, but there has been some unfortunate circumstances behind it. First, we had issues with the video version, which ultimately lead to us nixing it entirely this week. Unfortunately a lot of editing time was put in by both Aflred and myself, even accepting a day or two delay to make it work out. Unfortunately it just didn’t happen. Then Alfred vanished so he could study for college (you know, that’s important stuff!), while I had my internet go out. Meanwhile, the actual Audio episode has been technically online at podcast.zeldainformer.com since Friday. However, it was really hard to get it posted from my phone…

Welcome back to the podcast. Like Nate said, this week’s podcast is broken up into several different parts, for better or worse. In this one, we discuss what games could really make a bang for the Switch’s launch. As we know, it’s important for a console to have a good set of launch games, otherwise, it might flop. Which game should that be, though? Mario? Zelda? Splatoon? Something else? We also address whether or not it is worth it for Nintendo to continue to add games to the Wii U virtual console. Find out our opinions and more on today’s section of the podcast! As is the case with our predictions video and the rest of this podcast, it’s just Nate and I!
