Category: Caption Contest

Hey there, friends. I was a bit too busy trekking around E3 last week to post a new contest, but I have returned, with plenty of new screenshots from the upcoming Breath of the Wild DLC no less. The Switch game’s first DLC pack The Master Trials drops later this month, adding several new costumes to Link’s wardrobe. One outfit featured in the latest trailer was the Tingle costume, and something that fabulous just couldn’t be ignored by the Caption…

Greetings, friends. Are you all ready for another exciting Zelda Informer Caption Contest? I’ve been saving this week’s image since the week Breath of the Wild came out, trying not to spoil a highlight moment from the newest Zelda game. But with enough time between now and release, I think it’s finally time to pull it off the shelf. Ladies and gentlemen, the time has come. Let’s caption a picture of Link in the Gerudo Clothes.

Hi there, everyone. I figured I would take a few minutes out of my day off to start up another Zelda Informer Caption Contest. Breath of the Wild gives players plenty of tools to overcome the challenges of the Hyrulian wilderness. One such tool is the Octo Balloon, an inflatable item that can lift objects into the air. The utility of the Octo Balloon is definitely to be admired, but sometimes things don’t go quite as Link would expect.

Hello there, my friends. It would appear that Zelda Informer’s Caption Contest is just about ready to begin. The contest we saw last week focused on a jubilant blue horse making a power play to the screenshot’s foreground. But as we’ve all learned, for every happy horsey found in Breath of the Wild, there is a fearsome beast that wants nothing more than to tear Link to shreds. This week’s contest features one such creature: the ever-ferocious Lynel.

Happy Monday, all you beautiful people. We’re chugging straight on through the month of May, and another exciting Caption Contest is ready to begin. After a brief detour to celebrate Cinco de Mayo last week, we’re returning to Breath of the Wild for more silly images. The newest Zelda game still has plenty of ridiculous screenshots to offer. I’m sure you’ve got a very excited horse floating around in your peripheral, so let’s get this thing started. Last Week’s Contest:…

The beginning of a new week is here, everyone. And we all know that means we’re ready for another Zelda Informer Caption Contest. Today is of course the first of May, a holiday of sorts for many people. But what I find more exciting about the new month is the anticipation for festivities taking place this Friday, on what we’ve come to know as Cinco de Mayo. A celebration of Mexican culture, the fifth of May sparks the excitement of…

Hello, friends. It’s the start of a new week, which means we’re starting up another Zelda Informer Caption Contest. The contest last week was home to the grandest Cucco conspiracy the Zelda series has ever seen. But the chicken scrawlings on the wall begged what is perhaps the most universal of all questions. Which came first: the chicken or the egg?

Happy Monday, everyone! After a week off, Zelda Informer’s beloved Caption Contest has returned. And with its return comes another goofy image from our favorite game series. The Hyrule of Breath of the Wild is filled with interesting characters, some quirky, some lovable, some that are just a little crazy. One such character that I would place in that latter category is Cado of Kakariko Village, a man that we come to learn is a little cuckoo for Cuccos. Most…

Hello, everyone. I hope you’re ready to kick off yet another bout in Zelda Informer’s weekly Caption Contest. There are plenty of colorful characters to meet in the vast landscapes of Breath of the Wild, but few are as giddy or as jovial as the merchant Beedle. The series’ reoccurring salesman travels — sometimes unbelievably quickly — from stable to stable to sell his wares to a certain hero. Most of the time, Beedle is as chipper as can be,…

Good day, all you Zelda fans. It would seem another entry in ZI’s Caption Contest has slipped onto the scene. I have been steadily collecting images from Breath of the Wild for upcoming contests, but I am always fearful that certain image may spoil some part of the game for someone. I don’t think this week’s picture will do that, but let please let me know if you think I should stay away from the more plot-centric screenshots moving forward….
