Greetings, Zelda fans! I’m back to kick off yet another entry in ZI’s weekly Caption Contest. With the road to Breath of the Wild at its final stretch, Nintendo has graced me with plenty of screenshots to get us all the way to release. Last week highlighted the drama we’re due to see in the upcoming game, and this week will focus on one of the hopefully many boss characters.

Happy Monday, everyone. I come to you today with another Zelda Informer Caption Contest. Well, a lot went down in the week between contests. The site made the jump to WordPress, a new Nintendo Direct told us all we needed to know about the Switch, and… oh, we were on the receiving end of one of the biggest waves of Breath of the Wild news we’ve ever seen. We got a release date, gameplay, trailers, and a heaping helping of…

Ladies and gentlemen, I am so very proud to bring the 100th entry of Zelda Informer’s Caption Contest! That’s right; for more than 100 weeks, we have steadily unleashed a torrent of goofy images, clever puns, and some the biggest laughs theZelda community have ever seen. Since I took over for Jei back in Contest 023, I wasn’t exactly sure we would ever reach this day. “Was it smart of Jei to put three numerals in Contest 001?” I asked myself. Well,…

Happy Monday, everybody. I just so happened to have the day off from work today, so I figured I’d get the Caption Contest started a little earlier today. It’s the first contest of the new year, and I’m sure we can all agree that the thing we’re most excited about in 2017 is the release of Breath of the Wild. The contest has been focusing on this long-awaited game for the past few weeks, but the new year has only…

Happy Monday, everyone. The Photoshop Contest may be taking a week off for Christmas, but that doesn’t mean I’m slacking on the Caption Contest too. As I promised last week, our newest image comes straight from one of Nintendo’s recent Breath of the Wild announcements. It would seem that using specific amiibo during gameplay will shower Link with plenty of goodies. And as helpful that I’m sure these supplies are for our hero, nothing is more absurd than watching Link approach a…

Happy Monday, everyone. I hope you’re ready for yet another entry in Zelda Informer’s weekly Caption Contest. Since featuring a Breath of the Wild screenshot during last week’s contest, our good friends at Nintendo have shared even more images from the anticipated game. Now, I obviously want to make use of these images, but it might take me a bit to collect them. So, for the sake of getting the contest out on time, I’ll leave you here with this silly Smash Bros. image this week, as we anticipate the BotW goodness coming our way next time…

Hello! And welcome to Zelda Informer’s weekly Caption Contest. Anticipation for Breath of the Wild seems to grow just about every day. After the new footage we saw at the Game Awards, we’re finally starting to see a bit more of Hyrule beyond the Great Plateau. Making good on Nintendo’s promise, it looks like Link will have a lot of ground to cover in his next adventure. With so much travelling, our hero will surely need a reliable steed; the problem is he’ll probably have to break one first…

Happy Monday, everybody. Are you all ready for another Zelda Informer Caption Contest? After our recent adventure into Skyrim, I wanted to take a bit of break and relax. And nothing is more relaxing than a nice fishing trip, which is why this week’s contest is heading to Ocarina of Time‘s Fishing Hole. Unfortunately, it looks like the Pond Owner is giving Link a bit of grief; I wonder why that is…

Good day, fellow travelers. I hope you’re ready to embark on yet another Zelda Informer Caption Contest. Last week, EmberLab’s outstanding fan film “Terrible Fate” was released alongside Theophany’s fan album Time’s End II, offering some interesting new takes on Majora’s Mask‘s backstory. This news definitely reinvigorated our love of Majora’s Mask, so we’ve decided to let the game inspire this week’s contest. But just as “Terrible Fate” gave us a fresh perspective on the title, so too will our contest put its own spin on Majora’s Mask

Happy Monday, everyone. As you may know, the week cannot officially begin before Zelda Informer kicks off another of its Caption Contests. Thanksgiving is just a few days away (in America), and many people will be partaking in a hardy meal of turkey, mash potatoes, and cranberries. All that food can sometimes add a few pounds to a person. This is why this week’s contest features an image of our hero Link after a few meals and a few added pounds…
