Category: Caption Contest

Hello there, everyone. As I have already published a thing today that will cause certain Zelda fans to be mad at me, it’s time to put something out that fans will enjoy. And so we have our weekly Caption Contest. This week, we’re taking look at a character that truly lives the word fabulous, Bolson the carpenter. May his dance moves brighten up your day.

Happy Monday, all my favorite people. Are you ready for yet another entry in Zelda Informer’s Caption Contest? I’ve been getting quite a bit of mileage out of the new masks and items from Breath of the Wild‘s latest DLC Pack. The contest has featured Majora’s Mask, Tingle’s Outfit, and the Travel Medallion. But I would contend that no new item is as useful as the Korok Mask, a headpiece that eases the anxieties of searching for pesky Korok Seeds….

Greetings, ladies and gentlemen. I come to you today with yet another Zelda Informer Caption Contest. It’s been about four months since Breath of the Wild‘s release, and I’ve been a bit reflective about the epic adventure I have braved in the wilderness of Hyrule. It seems like only yesterday that a mysterious old man gave me his glider and set me loose. It was a special moment, but there sure were a few things I wish he had told…

Hey there, my ZI compadres. How about we start up this week’s exciting Caption Contest? As evidenced by last week’s contest, Link has amassed quite a collection of headwear in Breath of the Wild. The latest DLC pack added a few new pieces to our hero’s repertoire, but we can’t just ignore the many hats that Link donned in his original adventure through the wild. One such headpiece was the Lizalfos Mask, an expertly crafted article that lets our hero…

Hi there, ladies and gentlemen. I hope you’re ready for yet another Zelda Informer Caption Contest. It hasn’t been all that long since the first Breath of the Wild DLC pack was released, offering countless new toys for Link to mess around with. One such inclusion was the ever-popular Majora’s Mask which offers our hero a boon to his stealthing skills. He looks mighty happy to be sporting that mythical mask, so let’s puts some words on that pictiue to…

Happy Monday, everybody. The Zelda Informer Caption Contest is back again, albeit with a few changes. Since I first took over contest many months ago, the Caption Contest has discouraged Photoshopping and image manipulation as a way to maintain the sanctity of a caption-based competition, also owing in part to a Photoshop contest taking place over the weekend. I’ve fudged this rule a bit, but I’ve largely stuck to the precedent. Well, after some consideration, I have decided that photo…

Greetings, ZI fans. Are you all up for yet another Zelda Informer Caption Contest? The release of Breath of the Wild‘s first DLC is only a few days away, so the contest has been highlighting the new features heading to the game. Last week focused on one of Link’s new costumes, and it appears this week’s contest will catch a glimpse at BotW‘s Travel Medallion.

Hey there, friends. I was a bit too busy trekking around E3 last week to post a new contest, but I have returned, with plenty of new screenshots from the upcoming Breath of the Wild DLC no less. The Switch game’s first DLC pack The Master Trials drops later this month, adding several new costumes to Link’s wardrobe. One outfit featured in the latest trailer was the Tingle costume, and something that fabulous just couldn’t be ignored by the Caption…

Greetings, friends. Are you all ready for another exciting Zelda Informer Caption Contest? I’ve been saving this week’s image since the week Breath of the Wild came out, trying not to spoil a highlight moment from the newest Zelda game. But with enough time between now and release, I think it’s finally time to pull it off the shelf. Ladies and gentlemen, the time has come. Let’s caption a picture of Link in the Gerudo Clothes.

Hi there, everyone. I figured I would take a few minutes out of my day off to start up another Zelda Informer Caption Contest. Breath of the Wild gives players plenty of tools to overcome the challenges of the Hyrulian wilderness. One such tool is the Octo Balloon, an inflatable item that can lift objects into the air. The utility of the Octo Balloon is definitely to be admired, but sometimes things don’t go quite as Link would expect.
