I hope you guys enjoy this podcast even more then last months. I do apologize for this coming 3 days later then expected, but we had some issues to work out with ZI 3.0 that put this cast on hold. We took heed to some of the complaints and suggestions last month to make the podcast even better this time around. You can find all of our previous podcasts and video casts by clicking on the podcast link at the top of the site, or be simply clicking here. You can also subscribe to our youtube page.

You thought it was boring so you watched it again... I fail to see any logic in that.
"Boring" over there has a pretty strong opinion. I'd say it was rather repetitive. Nothing particularly new was talked about. However I'd say it was interesting to point out that OoT's Field was no better than TP's, since people bash it just for that reason. But "ruined my whole morning"? I don't think so.
nate can i be on the next podcast so it's actually entertaining?
Oh, I was certainly entertained by Viral's sexy Australian accent.
Hey, I got a honorable mention! Someday Viral and I will have to face off with the rest of you in a OoT vs. MM debate.
Case and I are a dying breed here with our preference of OoT. :P
Pfft, "boring", mate, you just need to chill.
Ok, so here's a real comment! =)
I watched/listened a good portion of it, and the more I listened to you guys, the more I wished I was in this conversation. You all agreed with each other,(for the most part)! The podcast idea is awesome for ZeldaInformer, however, I feel a more engaging, debate-y feel is needed to really capture the viewer/listener - I wouldn't say it was boring, but I will say I wasn't fully immersed either. I would like to see the OOT vs. MM debate Case hinted on above! =)
On a different note, my favorite Zelda was FSA. Shoot me, throw me down a large flight of stairs, whatever - it was the fact that it carried over the things that made ALTTP great, while not only involving the player in simple, yet engaging puzzles, but keeping a fast-paced, arcade-y feel as well. For the 2Ds overall, I found myself getting bored because the presentation wasn't engaging enough - and for that reason alone, I tend to prefer the 3D titles. The thing about FSA was that you could play it alone (the aspect absent from Four Swords that could've made that game great), and there was always something to do, not to mention it had that "play-as-you-want" kind of feel. Again for games that don't have much in the story department, they have to be engaging or fast, or boredom will creep in.
Good discussion, though. Peace!
^You and I both, FSA is my favorite Zelda game too!
...Even though it shares the spot with The Wind Waker and Majora's Mask... BUT it's the thought that counts... right?
This was enjoyable. I liked Lem's commentary. Cody, you stole the show with your Mario Timeline statement. That was good.
My only minor gripes were the lack of spreading it around. Viral had made some good comments but I barely heard him. Basically, if there are going to be as many as five people in one cast, then I think the host should be a facilitator rather than somebody that gives out his points as well. If the host is a part of the discussion, then I think 5 is a bit much, as it is hard to distribute the time in a 30minute podcast where the host takes up a huge chunk of it.
Only other suggestion would be in line with the above comments. I wasn't engaged into the conversation since for a lot of the discussion it wasn't a discussion at all. It was just one question asked to one person. 'Lem what do you think'..... 'Some interesting comments, Cody what do you think'...... 'Good points, Viral, what do you think?'.... Stuff like that didn't come across well in my opinion. Luckily it picked up after the intro, but then it came back again later on. It's a tough median to reach, where people just jump in and the conversation flows, without any major interruptions or people talking at the same time.
This was good though. 'Boring' is a bit harsh. I think the topic was a bit too broad so it was hard to get engulfed into more specifics, which perhaps made it sound a bit dry at times.
@Mases
Well, part of the reason is that I believe Viral and I had never done a podcast. Nate obviously talked quite a bit because he's nate (:hurr:) but yeah, I agree, others should've talked more. We were also doing it super late at night (except for Viral.) It might've been because Viral was awake and alive while the rest of us were loopy, tired, and talkative (as I end up being at 5AM at night.) Either way, I enjoyed *doing* the podcast. Hopefully we can get a more debatable topic next month. This one wasn't really supposed to be a debate, but a discussion. Maybe that's why some people found it a bit dry.
Maybe, since people here dislike that there was little coveration among the gang, have a smaller cast to give the guys more time to talk about their point of views.
(psssssss... This might sound dumb, but I'd like a special on concept art)
Dear ZI reader, REMEMBER ZORDIANA! Dare not ask about the mysterious "Zordiana", dare not ask on this website...they will disappear you...watch, watch what happens to me.
Oh! Woe, woe! Woe unto those who question. They will lie to you about a "Zordiana", then they will shut you up if you ask about their deceptions. Like Sie Germans, ZI will whisk you out of sight, never to be heard from, never to be seen.
They will say to all others, it is nothing. It is nothing. Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain. These aren’t the droids you’re looking for. They will tell you to forget about “Zordiana”.
Hear my tale, hear my tale of woe and lies and oppression, dear reader. And dare not ask about “Zordiana”.
But remember! REMEMBER ZORDIANA!

that was horribly boring and ruined my whole morning. the idea and topic was great but who ever did the narrations was the most boring people in the history of podcasts. not to mention all the mumbleiksjnsdlknvskvlkv......... what did everyone say, why dont you try sounding excited about the stuff. please make a new video with no sound and captions then it might be watchable. it would be easier to play CDI zelda games then watch that podcast again-just to make sure i wasnt over reacting i watched it again, but it didnt help "the horror the horror"
