I really want these rumors to be true. It would be a smart move to go back to the Hero of Time rather than further confusing the timeline. A land other than Hyrule would also be welcome. If the rumor about time travel making a return is true, I hope they begin to build upon what Majora's Mask did: being able to jump to the past or increase the flow of time, but this time have no time limit. Just have the npc's on a three day schedule again so that way they do more than stand in one place all the time or have no set path. If you didn't complete an npc's mission before the cycle ends, it just resets to the first day's schedule and if you did complete the mission, you get the fulfillment of seeing the rest of their life play out, rather than your progress disappearing.

Wasn't technically Hyrule in OoX. Although Labrynna and Holodrum are probably connected to Hyrule quite closely.

This is by far the best Zelda website on the net! Thanks for always keeping us up to date with the latest and best Zelda news! Love the video updates, by the way. Keep doing them! Very informative :]

I'm kind of disappointed that you used your own version of the information... Mainly because the points regarding Adelle's true face and the three models are completely different. It does not, in fact, say that Adelle's design has changed since that concept art came out, just that what you see in the art isn't her real face. This could imply that it's a mask, or that her form has been altered like Midna's.

I think the part with the models means that Link, Epona, and the Gorons are the only character models that appeared in Twilight Princess that were carried over into the new game, and thus had to be updated for the new art style.

As for it taking place in "more than Hyrule", that was completely made up by sharinganhero on IGN. The original text said that it did not take place in Hyrule. There have been quite a few games that don't take place in Hyrule... Six off the top of my head.

All that said, my official stance is that Adelle really is the Master Sword, and that the game does in fact take place in Hyrule. She looks just like the Master Sword, and Miyamoto specifically called attention to the fact that Link appears swordless.

Haha, yeah sorry about that Chesu, and I tried to imply she may be different than what we saw. Anyways, life moves on.

As a small update on these vid casts: I have a HD camera coming in the mail. Better believe it folks.

Great vid you made there. I think these rumors for the most part sound awesome, and I hope they're true. Especially the one where the Hero of Time returns - yes, I'm a fangirl. =P

You gotta admit it would be a very smart move for them to bring back the Link from the most successful game of all time to star in a new take on the Zelda formula (instead of the dungeon-field-dungeon). That way you can have familiarity by having the most recognizable form of Link back but change the gameplay up so it's not just a rehash of Ocarina like past games have been. Get what I'm saying?

well the master sword and ganondorf the triforce are not in all the games but there always seem to be in the big hits for zelda games. like twilight princess was amazing same with a link to the past and ocarina of time but the master sword is the best sword in zelda like what is ur favorite sword?

Chesu, I think you're definitely right that Adelle (or whatever she will be called) looks like a sword and that Miyamoto is referring to her, when he says Link is without a sword.

But she doesn't have to be the Master Sword, if this art is just concept, the final girl could look a lot more like a unique sword with a special totally new story made up for this new Zelda.
I hope so!

I believe the sword with additional abilities is a really good idea that fits to Motion Plus. And therefore Nintendo should invent something new. Because a story, that contains the Master Sword turning in something magical updateable would be odd imo.

Imagine Adelle communicating with you through the sword with voice acting (out of the Wiimote speaker!) and if you like to see the animation of her mouth (/head) moving while you can hear her, you have to hold your sword in a certain ankle so that you can see her like a reflection on the sword (and if you don't wanna see her, just don't hold up your sword and just listen)

I think that sword fighting will be a lot different in this title.
Possibly if you take your sword, Link gets (a little) transparent and the camera focusses and locks behind Link (obviously like in Sports Resort). Then you control every motion of Links arm while also still seeing him.

In addition enemies and other objects that interact with the sword have to change. There have to be enemies with certain weaknesses (e.g. no armor on the right sight of an enemy's body, so you have to hit him there to defeat him...) with the need of finding out where you have to hit with every new enemy.

But I think sword swinging will be just for defeating enemies and solving puzzles (your sword could be a torch) and no more for cutting grass and swinging it inflationary.

I now that a lot of Zelda fans think those things that have always be in Zelda games (like cutting grass) should stay there forever.
But I'd like the experience to change even more then doing I'd like in past games

This would also explain the part of the rumor, in which it says, the basic gameplay and plots are finished, because with Motion Plus the hole gameplay and world needs to be rethought.

I think I've made my point ;-)
