Welcome to my first weekly videocast! Every week I will take a topic, do the research, and present it to you guys in video format. As time moves on, the videos will get better and better, with some gameplay footage among some comparison charts and much more. What I'll do from this point on is take suggestions in the comment area for next weeks topic. So feel free to discuss away, and if there is a topic you wish me to cover next week be sure to mention it!
To give you an idea of how this videocast came together: I started recording this two weeks ago, and recrecorded it a day or so ago. I wasn't sure if I wanted to go through with it or not, and it was mostly to create a change of pace from constant articles. Now once a week I will physically talk to you guys, and there is always the possibility of future live videocasts down the road. In either case, I hope you enjoyed the video.

Fun rant, but the background music was a little distracting.
Very good stuff. I am glad to see a video cast on Zelda Informer, its my favorite zelda news site. Probably cause you guys write such interesting articles on zelda theory.
Did you ever read the Iwata asks about Twilight Princess thing? Aonuma says that they were focusing so hard on the game, that it had gotten really big, and Aonuma had to add things inbetween to try and balance it out. This pretty much refers to that they made the main quest so big on the limited gamecube title that there wasn't much to do inbetween that afterwards. This was the main mistake with Twilight Princess to an otherwise great game. They got so worked up creating the best Zelda ever that it became too big, and they forgot the balance, and had gotten too far along to turn back at that point.
Zelda Wii could easily be as big as Twilight Princess with enough things inbetween to give it more of a personality, and value. Its almost like they forgot that Twilight Princess was a gamecube title, not a wii title.
Also, this is a pretty fun idea. Background music was pretty interesting. Can you change it every video?
Can I change it every video? Ha. Of course I can. :)
THATS WHAT YOU LOOK LIKE?
I can totally imagine your face making the expression on your avatar right now :P
Wow Nate, you really let yourself go.
First the Zelda Dungeon guy and now you... I'd prefer it, if you just write the articles instead of making videos. If you were some hot chick talking about Zelda, I would watch you all day. But let's face it, you're not a hot chick. ^^ No offense.
NEW IDEA-
Get our girlfriends to do the videocast :P
TourianTourist. Why don't you just switch to another tab or something and just listen to the audio then. It's not about what he looks like. Maybe you get lost in his eyes, but really you should be paying attention to what he is saying.
For the record, some people find him to be very hot, so you can only ever speak for yourself.
Well, my point was, that I prefer a written article over listening to a video/audio cast.
I understand your point Tourian, it's just like some people like our comic but they don't like our articles. It's a point that everyone likes different things. Videos are not your deal, so naturally, why would you bother watching?
Unless, of course, you have this secret man crush on me. If thats the case, my address is...
:)
Good podcast (and ye ain't half bad yerself), but for some visual advice: don't wear a grey shirt in a white background. Try wearing a more colorful shirt. Also, place an object in the back ground to make it more attractive (Samus *wink wink*).
Lastly, try to find a good light sorce. I'm sure you're working on that one already :)
Don't put Samus back there. Then we won't hear anything he says, or anyone else talking for that matter.
GREAT IDEA!!! Just keep improving on it like you say you will. Make sure to add gameplay footage to support your points:) Recommendation: every time yo mention a Zelda game, switch to footage from that game until you mention another Zelda game. Song request: Dragon Roost Island Song.
Eiji Aonuma is pronounced "ehh-jee ow-noo-muh"
Ditch the music, or at the very least keep it as low as possible.
lmao nate you look like mike judge created you
