Fan-made Zelda Wii ScreenshotActually putting popular PC modification tool Garry's Mod to a productive use, Ryu-Gi of el enemigo created a batch of fake Zelda Wii visuals in the style every Zelda fan and their brother lies awake at night and thinks about. Peep them here. As previously reported, a graphical style for the true debut of Zelda on the Wii has not been decided as of yet.

Strange that these images have suddenly exploded across the internet. I saw these a while ago.

The christian cross symbols in various areas seem oddly out of place with Link there.

Well it was on Link's shield in the original

Whoa! Check out how realistic that Triforce looks! :P

Wow, he looks so stoned... I mean drunk. I mean... Hey, a Triforce... again...

Otherwise a pretty picture there. Not bad, not bad at all, at least for my eyes.

As for Christian crosses, yup they were used in the first game, but then the world of Hyrule defined itself as a world on its own (read, with a religion on its own) and NOT just another medieval based fantasy that sticks not-so-subtile Christian references left and right.

That's why it can be seen as odd.

Well, as much as I find it odd that some people talk about Link's Christmas when there's no Christ ever born in Hyrule (though they surely have some sort of Wintery festivities related to some sort of solstice. ...I swear the stars in Wind Waker are the same that those on my night sky.)
But I know that won't stop Nintendo from giving them a Christmas if they felt like it. That, and some dude in WW had China jar-thingies, yet they wouldn't know about China. I remember because I was wondering where on that great sea could I ever find what China is.
Bla-bla-bla it's fun to go geek on something.

And oh, hey, the Triforce. Again. Might I demand it shinier?

LINK LOOKING OUT OF PLACE IN VARIOUS GENERIC CASTLEVANIA-STYLE SETTINGS GOOO~

"in the style every Zelda fan and their brother lies awake at night and thinks about."

Yeah. Except for the ones that, you know, prefer the Wind Waker style.
