Our estimations (we're writers, not mathematicians) put Spirit Tracks holding somewhere around a 89/100 average; Metacritic, who didn't factor in as many reviews, says 87/100. No matter what the case, critics pretty much agree that Spirit Tracks is an all-around kickass game, even if itt places lower than Phantom Hourglass.

man, it was awesome seeing phil theobald do the review for g4. he used to write for expert gamer and gamenow, two of the best video game mags ever.
Isn't a 4/5 from G4 like a nine instead of an 8? They don't really do inbetween numbers I think
I'm fuzzy with my math, but I think 4/5 is equivalent to 8/10.
It is, but G4 never gives anything other than 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5. No 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 point anything. Thats why I think it should be considered a 9, coming from G4s rating system.
Just beat it...it's a cool game, but the train parts are kinda tedious and is a chore to buy parts for the train, and also to get above the gold discount in the balloon, you end up selling all the treasures. Getting people from one part of the map to the other as well as transporting ice and wood is a nice touch...but...All in all I prefer Phantom Hourglass, it was better.
Best thing about this game? The HARD last dungeon were you exchange armors a LOT, and the nice addition of the sand staff.
can't wait for this game's release tomorrow (australia). Sound like it's pretty good.
added gamespot and abc reviews
Andres, I respect your opinion, but PH was nothing. ST is something. Or at least now thats the case. PH is a demo compared to ST.
