"We're taking advantage of MotionPlus. It's become very natural - the movement of your arms is precisely reflected in the gameplay. Thanks to the technological advancements, we hope the gameplay can be more accessible to people.
"We're making efforts regarding the total flow of the Zelda game. So far, the basic flow of the Zelda games is you're exploring a field, you go to a dungeon, you conquer it and return to the field. We're looking at altering that traditional flow. That's all I can share, and I can't say more until E3 next year." - Eijii Aonuma

This is definitely exciting news — for some of us, including me.
This is likely my not looking at a big enough picture, but I can only see a movement away from field-dungeon-field-dungeon go in one direction:
A more linear story.
Which is fine by me. All the epic stories we read are linear by default, and this could make for a truly incredible tale, but those Zelda fans who have been wanting to see things loop back to the sandboxy freedom of the first NES game may not be too thrilled at first.
Whatevs, I say. Let’s do this.
Can't they get rid once and for all of this wiimote gimmick ? No Zelda player cares about it. Just give us a damn Zelda and that's all.
Using too much wiimote is a small price to pay for a franchise shake-up, in my opinion.
stop with the "no more wiimote gimicks" the game is using motion plus for a 1:1 sword combat, so you are not gonna shake the wii mote like crazy, you will have to swing it as a true sword, just look at red steel 2, but anyway, can't wait to see the next zelda, i'm really excited
God damn I'm getting excited now
this will be the biggest break through for the franchise in years, I cannot wait for this
