So Zelda Wii Isn't that Different After All

The hype and excitement of Zelda Wii still continues since it was originally announced, with fans expecting something special. Honestly, who wouldn't expect something special with series producer Eiji Aonuma saying it will be "unlike any past Zelda game we've seen."

Nintendo PowerWell, sorry folks, Mr. Miyamoto doesn't seem to think the same thing. He has recently told Nintendo Power Magazine "I don't think it's going to be that radically different." There are a number of ways that quote can be taken, but I'll be waiting to judge that for myself.

"radically different" could simply mean don't expect link to start killing everything around him with a machine gun while trying to save hyrule from attack from nazi's....or something to that effect...I guess what Im saying as something can be "different" and really new without being
'radically different".

I want to agree with Themanfromhyrule on this one... It can be revolutionary, and feel like a "regular Zelda game" at the same time...

Maybe he means revolutionary by good game. Alot of people think oot is the best zelda game. The might be trying to make it better than that by making more playing options, more gameplay, and other junk. More areas to go to good story, and in my opinion, more duku scrubs. Bring back the Deku Scrubs!!

Four Swords maybe?

If we get something along the lines of Twilight Princess I'll be very disappointed.

RADICAL NEWS STORY BRO

i dont mind...i like how zelda is and i have been a fan of the series since high school:)

As long as we don't get another TP.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that he's just saying don't expect something like "A Link to the Future" different.

Sounds like we've got a AlttP/OoT/TP rehash coming our way.

Way to kill my love for Zelda, Nintendo. o:

And the angry fanboys will complain forever XDDDD.

It's so funny how people complain when they change anything in the series (cel-shaded, train...) and also complain when they say we'll get more of the same...
I still have hope that this game will be different while keeping a "Zelda feel" to it...

I just have to say that im happy as long as we steer clear of toon link. I'd rather see familiar sights, but with a new story, and maybe an rpg style experience thing.
