Spirit Tracks Timeline Placement Announced!

Gametrailers.com reports that the upcoming Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks takes place 100 years in the future of Phantom Hourglass.

Whether this will still hold true when the game is released later this year is yet to be seen, but this placement certainly seems to make sense, given the trailers we've seen.

Gametrailers, huh? ;D

Hey, at least they didn't say Gustaf is the Hero of Men this time....

Seeing as how a hundred and hundreds of years are interchangable in Japanese, this doesn't confirm anything except that it is possibly set in the AT.

I'm not sure whether to trust gametrailer's 100 years after PH, or engineer, but the main point that I notice from that video is a train companion. Of course there's no voice acting, but if you look at the top screen, someone says "The Train can't take much more. Link. Link do something." I think Link does have a companion. Is it the the phantom?

Apparently the person who confirmed this was David Young, who works for Nintendo of America, not Gametrailers.

wow, the game looks really good, can't wait
