E3 is just a few days away, and a lot of big things are expected from Nintendo. In fact, some would go as far as to say Nintendo needs something big to really remind the game world that the Wii is not dying, and that Nintendo is still the king. Sure, we'll hear about sales figures, and how Nintendo still controls the market and is making a piss load of money, but what consumers want to here is that we will be seeing some good quality games. Namely, a blockbuster hit such as the highly anticipated announcement of the first full blown Wii Zelda adventure.

As you can see, Gametrailers.com is highly anticipating a Wii Zelda announcement, so much so it made #3 on their list. Obviously, it's #1 on mine, but the hype train is getting started. Let's go Nintendo, you need this Zelda title now more than you may realize.

I'm not entirely sure... a Zelda Wii announcement would be great, but I wonder whether they're going to get Spirit Tracks released before worrying about Zelda Wii. Nevertheless, I'd like to see both of them given a go at this E3.

I see where you are coming from mel, and that too has been my feeling. The only reason Zelda is mentioned is because it has been 3 years since TP, and on top of that, Nintendo said they have a big announcement set for this E3. Spirit Tracks was already announced, so it is most likely a first party franchise game for the Wii. Could be Mario, maybe it's the new rumored Star Fox game. Who knows, but almost 3 years removed from TP, it's ripe time to at least prove to people that your making a Wii Zelda.

The longer we here nothing, the more likely it gets released on the Wii 2 instead, which would be highly disapointing.

I'm thinking of the similarity between this Zelda Wii and ST, compared to TMC and TP.

TMC was released in 2005, with TP in 2006, but we'd been hearing about TP since E3 2005. Thus, I think (hope) we will get ST later this year, with more about that at E3, and Zelda Wii, for a late 2010 release with some demos videos at this E3. Yet again, who the hell knows what Nintendo will do?
