The Hero of Time Movie Trailer

Most of the Zelda movies we come across either suck too hard or implode before ever seeing the light of day. With the latter, it's almost always a good thing--they usually suck even harder.

So, I'm happy to report that BMB FINISHES, a film company out of Atlanta, Georgia, has finished work on a Zelda movie of its own. Filming began way back in August of 2004, and ended in January of 2006. Since then, the company has been dealing with post-production and trying to figure out how to release this to the general public. Luckily for us, however, a handful of trailers have been released, the latest of which can be found below:

Doesn't look too bad... you should be able to hold down your cranberry sauce after watching it, at least. We'll keep you posted with any more info. Until then, Happy Thanksgiving!

The movie's official website can be found here.

When will they be adding these characters to the next super smash bros.?

This movie looks horrible. All the characters look like bad cosplayers. I've seen worse, but still. Terrible.

Look at the lady at 1:37

I looked at the two trailers that they have on their official website and the first trailer is the same one that IGN came out with as an April Fool's Joke. How can we take any of these film ideas seriously? The acting is plainly bad, cheesy special effects, and the costuming isn't even the greatest. In certain shots, you can see that they did put makeup on Ganondorf's face, but his neck and wrists have no makeup on them and the actor's natural skin colour can be seen. Even a low budget independent film wouldn't allow that to slip through.

If we continue bugging Nintendo, they may finally give us the Zelda movie we've been begging for ever since OoT was released. Until we actually get this movie, these "independent film makers" should stay away from attempting to create a movie of such a wonderful game when they don't have the licensing from Nintendo to create the film and trying to put it out for people to buy would result in major copyright infringement. I'd rather wait for the movie created by Nintendo than watch a bunch of horrible cosplaying that doesn't stick to the actual storyline of the game at all.
